Somewhere in Belgium, there is a beautiful castle…

Located in Beauvoorde, this is one of the most beautiful castles. It was built in 1408 and after it was buried down it was rebuild in 1617. In 1875 a new owner, Arthur Merghelynck, undertook an extensive restoration. The interior fittings and furnishings inside it today date from Merghalynck’s time. The castle was promoted to historic monument status in 1987. It’s still possible to visit this castle, also the park around the castle is worth visiting. There is even a special program for children to visit this castle with activities 🙂 so when you are around, must visit.
